Fav Friday!

1. Music - Wilco
Recently, Tuck gave me the entire Wilco discography for my birthday, and clearly I was pumped. I've been listening in order for the last few days and I haven't been disappointed yet. I've never actually done this, listened to an entire band's profile and I can't think if a better band to start with. So I hope you like Wilco readers, I feel like I'll be talking about them frequently. Here are a few favs from the first two albums I've listened to.

A.M. - I must be high

2. DIY - Check out my Faux Feather Necklace DIY here!
You can download a pdf tutorial also.

3. Etsy - Christmas Gift Supplies
With everything that's been going on lately (more on that later) Christmas is going to have to be cheaper than ever. The Mister and I cancelled it for ourselves but I have to take advantage of the challenge of a cheap Christmas with everyone else. SO with that said I'm cooking up a TON of gift tutorials I'll post (some my own and some I've found and made), probably in November for you download and links to ALL of the supplies you'll need (I hope) AND how cheap I actually made them for. Get excited.
Until then here are some fo the great Etsy places I'm getting some of my stuff. Hopefully you'll be inspired as well!
Ilovefelt88 - some great colors and great prices for all of your cool felt projects!
SR Supplies - I LOVE her beads and natural stone beads, fantastic pricing and fast delivery. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, this is where I bought my natural crystals for my crystal necklace DIY. So cheap to make and I made 3 necklaces out of one order!!

Halolo - TONS and tons of filigree for any kind of necklace you can imagine. I always go here when I'm looking for something specific.
4. Fashion - Zara Dot Com
On my Birthday Zara released an online shop in the US for the first time ever. I'm not super schooled in fashion but I know what I like and still I adore the menswear for women look still. So sleek and chic, dressed up or down it's all amazing. So when HonestlyWTF showed off some of Zara's looks I fell hard.
The cuffed collar white shirt is amazing and that skinny navy and black blazer haunts my dreams. GORG. And while I'm at it. A simple sequined shift needs to be in every girls closet. (No I don't have one, I just said I know what I like, not that I can afford it. - Actually her prices aren't that scarey, but mostly it' sold out, sigh, maybe next season)

5. Pinterest - My Mother did this all the time. She didn't have money to do it and I used to think it was kind of a waste. But not until I was old enough to do it for someone did I get it. The power of kindness is infinite. Pick up something for someone for no reason. Buy an extra coffee, a key chain, fav ice cream, write a note, leave a card. Just because. I have more fun shopping for other people than I do myself.
